| Gabriela Palacio is Miss Mexico World 2011 |
According
to Lupita Jones, the head of Nuestra Belleza México Organization,
Gabriela Palacio Díaz has been selected to represent Mexico in Miss
World 2011. Palacio is the firt runner-up to Cynthia de la Vega, who was
dethroned recently. Palacio from Aguascalientes is 21 year old and
stands 1.79 m. She represented Mexico in Miss International 2010 in
Chengdu, China and won the Miss Photogenic Award.
Once
again, in the said press conference, Lupita Jones said Cynthia de la
Vega was dethroned not because of her weight but because of her lack of
discipline and her inability to commit a serious job – representing
Mexico in Miss World 2011 pageant.
